Software Development Engineer (NTT America). Developed open-source control panel software for system administration of virtualized private servers and cloud-based instances. The software is platform independent (FreeBSD/Linux) as well as distribution aware (Debian/RHEL). Developed frontend UI and backend API; managed open-source project using GitHub.

Software Development Engineer (NTT/Verio). Contributed to the development of various software packages for NTT/Verio's hosting platforms (FreeBSD, Linux, Cloud) including a server/client Control Panel built on a client-side XSL transform processor and a server-side XML-based API.

January 1998 - August 2000

Software Development Engineer (Verio, Inc.). Built database-driven customer-facing "backroom" software to manage account profiles, virtual server instances, billing, DNS, and domain registrations. Built a light-weight client-side virtual private server administration suite to manage users, domains, and mail.

August 1995 - December 1997

Webmaster/Co-Founder (Internet Servers Inc.). Built a web hosting business that achieved seven-figure revenue within two years. Sold venture successfully to Verio, Inc.

April 1995 - September 1996

Software Manager (Engineering Computer Graphics Lab). Managed and led a small team of programmers responsible for the development of the Groundwater Modeling System (GMS), a software platform used to create groundwater and subsurface simulations in a 3D environment.

January 1992 - March 1995

Software Developer (Engineering Computer Graphics Lab). Developed and maintained engineering and visualization software (Surface-water Modeling System, Groundwater Modeling System, Watershed Modeling System) used by engineering firms and government agencies.
