Kristy's Chocolate Caramels
2 cup sugar Arrange pecans on the bottom of a buttered 9x9-inch pan. Combine sugar, cocoa, and Karo syrup in medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil until clear. Add butter. Stir until melted. Add milk. Bring to boil over medium heat until candy thermometer reads 242°. Remove from heat. Pour into pan over nuts. Allow to cool. Cut into rectangular cubes. Wrap in wax paper.
