Home Removation Project: Vault Removal: Tile Anguish... Revisited
I was staring at some the marble tile and travertine trim piece we picked out on Thursday all day long yesterday. I decided that it just didn't look quite right together. So... off again we ventured down to the tile store (located in Tukwila) to see if we couldn't find something that will completely satisfy my compulsive obsessions. We did find something... a 4x12-inch marble tile pattern called the "Savona Listello". Each of these $20(!) tiles is composed of about 200 or so petite-sized marble pieces (about ¼x¼" square) lined up in a simple grid. We will installing the patterned tile inset and centered within a 6-inch backsplash around the vanity, We will also inset the patterned tile in the shower walls at about five feet from the floor. Should be nice.

I also settled on a radiant heating product for the bathroom - WarmWire by SunTouch. Since I have as much experience as my contractor with this product (i.e. none), I'll be installing it myself.
