Our 2008 Christmas Newsletter
We have our snail mail newsletter done and printed out. I finished up the mailing labels for the envelopes just now. We will stuff them on our drive down to Utah tomorrow and then mail them on Friday. The holiday greetings will likely start hitting mailboxes on Saturday (the 29th) or on Monday (the 1st).

Holiday Greetings from the Berretts!

The hard copy version of our mailer references the URL of the 2008 version of our on-line greeting card. The on-line version includes quite a few pictures and a few remarks, but they are nothing that that the faithful readers of my blog have not already seen.

Christmas Newsletter 2007
Kristy and I stayed up late and hammered out the labels for the 160 or so Christmas cards we are sending out this year. We are using the Costco on-line photo service to build an informal card using this picture (taken in Colorado at Grandma Kiser's 90th birthday party). Compared to our card last year (which included a copy of our 2006 family portrait), this year's card is pretty weak by comparison. That's a shame.

We also built our annual on-line newsletter, check it out:

Whew! I'm glad that's done.

Merry Christmas from The Berretts!
Our life has been somewhat hectic lately and my time has been in great demand both at home and at work. Therefore, we are somewhat late in our Christmas Card mailings. But we got the bulk of it done during candlelight over the past few powerless evenings. We did not include a lengthy letter with our card this year, but instead we prepared an on-line newsleter which we simply reference in our card. I'll be closely tracking the traffic via the logs and see how many people actually care enough about us to look up the newsletter on-line. It should be an interesting revelation.

I still need to update it to include pictures from our trip to Mexico and California... I have also yet to blog about that trip. What a slacker!

Christmas Newsletter 2005
We posted the main batch of our christmas cards today to remotely located family and friends (we ran out of pictures for the local folks). Included in the cards is our annual christmas newsletter. If you can't wait to read your own copy (or if I neglected to send you one), don't fret... you can read it on-line:

Enjoy!
