Berkeley's Friend Jake
I arranged to have Berkeley spend a couple of hours today with Jake, his friend from school (Jake is pictured here next to Berkeley). When I dropped Berkeley off, Jake came running out to gave Berkeley a big hug. It was sweet. I'm very pleased that Berkeley has found a good friend and Jake seems like he will be a good influence on him (and I hope Berkeley is a good influence for Jake). Kristy and I were not at all happy with the influence of one of his peers at preschool last year (and were relieved to find out that E-v-a-n was not in the same school district).

Like Berkeley, Jake is the oldest boy in his family and has a younger sister (just one). They are both mild-mannered little boys (for the most part) and seems to go together like two peas in a pod. Once we get back into our house, it will be fun to invite Jake over for some activities and watch the two of them interact with each other close up.
