Eliana's Armoire
We had our home teachers over today to help us move Eliana's bedroom furniture from her old room to her new room. Unfortunately, we were unable to navigate the armoire down the hallway and through the bedroom door into her new room. It is impossible. For a sketch of the armoire, navigate to the Farmhouse Collection Armoires, and click on the "Maurice Armoire" link. The height is 7 feet, the width 4 feet, and the depth is 2 feet. It is massive. Here is a picture of it (click to enlarge):

I'm afraid that the only way to get the armoire into the bedroom is through the window. Hopefully we can remove the window without damaging all of the trim Baxton carefully installed around it. Kristy has already almost completely finished her hand painting in the new room. The painting style Kristy has painstakingly created closely matches the pattern found on the hand-painted furniture. So we are already pretty well committed on the idea that this particular set of furniture must move with Eliana into the room. The conundrum is how exactly we will be able to get the armoire in there.
