Park City Vacation: Day Five
This morning Eliana woke up at 6am Mountain... just like every other day on vacation. At home, she will typically wake up at 7am Pacific (or 8am Mountain). Not sure why she can't seem to sleep well here. Anyway... I took Eliana down to the pool this morning (just her and I) to spend some time with her swimming. I made sure to grab both Berkeley's and Elizabeth's flotation belts. I fastened Berkeley's belt to her back, removed one square from Elizabeth's belt and fastened it to her stomach. Then I took her out to the middle of the pool to see how she would do on her own.

She responded quite wonderfully and could kick well enough to pretty much navigate the pool on her own. I would position myself some distance away from her and ask her to "kick, kick, kick!" and she would... with a big fat smile on her face. I would submerge underwater and watch her little legs go. It was quite a sight.

Aunt Karen came up today and with her came the rain. We had planned to go ride the Alpine Slide, but because of the weather, we went to see the movie Valiant, instead. In the evening, Matt and I watched the kids while Kristy, Kathy, and Karen went out for dinner and to do some shopping. Kristy came back with some nice souvenirs for the family. Berkeley and I got some new matching flip-flops, and Kristy and Eliana now have some matching turquoise jewelry. Fun.
