Putting Olivia Down
Olivia has now been completely weaned for about a month; she seems to have adjusted well. One of my new-found pleasures is to be able to put Olivia down at night to sleep. I can sit on her rocker, curl her up against my chest, and feed her a bottle while we glide back and forth. Then, once she has had her fill of formula and her eyelids get droopy, I'll carefully stand up, rock her back and forth in my arms for about 2-3 minutes, and then transition her to her crib. Then it is lights out until her early-morning (3am-ish) feeding.
